Yep, Jason Sartain is the owner/DI. I've been diving with Jason for 2 years now. I highly recommend him and his shop. He's right off the beach on Calle 2 just off 5th Ave. Best Dive Center Playa Del Carmen, Personal Service, Small Groups. Two or three years past i booked a cenotes dive with him for 2 days. Met him was a nice guy then he dropped us off at another dive shop to do are dives that he subcontracted out for us.
Was mad at first but ended up having the best experience with Playa Scuba Dive Center | Tauchbasis | Centro de Buceo > Playa del Carmen, México

My mom refused to dive the cenotes because she was nervous but seeing how detail and professional he was with me diving she wanted to try it.
So we cut are stay short on cozumal by 2 days and came back so she can give it a try..... We will be back in Jan and my mom and me are doing 3 days of diving with klaus.


After post this i thought i was kind harsh on fantas sea dive shop then i goto jason webpage and found that klaus also works for jason as one of his guides.

I have been diving with Jason for 4 years. Jason is very experienced and patient with his divers. He keeps the groups small and gives personal attention to his clients, also a funloving guy that enjoys what he does. He is a fantastic photo and videographer and can provide a dvd of your dives.
