Fanasea Housing for G15 vs G16 measurements question

Looking for someone that can tell me if the port on the front of the Fantasea Housing for the G15 and G16 is the same size?

Also if the depth measurement (front to back measurement) is the same.

My husband may possibly purchase a G15 housing but is looking for a good adapter for his M67 inon lenses. There is this awesome looking swivel mount from Divervision. It is sold for the G16 and they can't confirm if the housings are the same size and that it will fit a G15 housing.

Have you checked with Fantasea directly? I'm pretty sure they are the same size, just different button setups on the back. I have the G15 & 16 but in the Canon housings and they are the same in the front half. Sure it should work for you, but check with Fantasea to be sure.

From the fantasea site the dimensions are the same. I would think it should fit but could not say 100%.

G16 size

It will depend on the screw mount and the position of the lens. Write an email to the shop and ask to confirm as if you import the item it might be hard to send back

I was looking through that website on the link you posted. They do have 2 different mounts for the canon housings for the G15 & 16, so maybe there is a very small difference. contact that site and ask them directly and/or fantasea

Fantasea sell M67 adapters ... however a word of warning (this came from Fantasea) the Canon has a large range of movement in lens, and when set to wide angle is spaced back somewhat from front of housing ... which means if you fit an external WA lens then you will get vignetting unless you zoom in to remove ... losing you some of the benefits.
(May not be an issue on close up lenses.)
