Fairly New Diver in Tampa FL

Hello everybody im have been diving for about 9mths and LOVE IT... Looking for group to go diving with and to build new relationships.. I was certified at Calypso Divers in Tampa FL in Dec07 and now working on my adv/o/w will be doing the dives the weekend of Sept 13-14... I belive the dives will be at Rainbow river( for drift dive and underwater naturalist) and 40 Fathom Grotto( for deep dive,underwater navagation, and peak performace bouy) cant wait!!!!!

I live in PA, but have a stepson in St Pete's (and he has a boat!). I'll be down your way a few times a year, but my SO doesn't dive, so I could use a buddy and someone who knows the local spots - can't seem to find much online about Tampa / St. Pete's diving, though Google Earth shows a half-dozen wrecks 5 - 10miles offshore that seem safe from my armchair, but again, don't know the local scene.

Drop me a line when you get a chance; it would be great to have a contact down there, and I can provide cheap and easy access to a boat.
