Hello:

We would like to have very short extension hose for our bio-filters. This would go between the 1st stage and the bio-filter to lessen the possibility of breaking off the biofilter in the 1st stage.

So one end would have to have a 3/8 x 24 fine thread male for the regulator end and a 3/8 x 24 fine thread female for the bio-filter end.

Are these readily available anywhere?

divezonescuba:

We do not have a source for a short extension hose for the bio-filters. The bio-filters do have Ball joint fittings surrounded by a rubber bumper to help absorb external impacts.

We'll it sounds like we'll have to make some ourselves. Anybody else want one can contact us. Apollo dealer Dive Zone Scuba, divezonescuba@yahoo.com

Tanya & Chris: have been doing some research after your first post; you may find what you are looking for @ XS Scuba Rubber Hoses

We have had some custom length hoses built. This along with an adapter enables you to connect a short length of hose between the first stage and the Apollo Bio Filter. This precludes any fracturing issues. You can then attach your existing regulator hose to the biofilter. We also have a shorter than normal hose which allows the whole assembly to be the same length as your original hose to the regulator.
