Express Tech Harness

I have the Express Tech with the deluxe harness. If I wanted to switch to the basic harness, is it just like any other basic harness kit (webbing, d-rings and buckle) except instead of using a single piece of webbing like a traditional BP, it uses 2 pieces instead? I was thinking I could take a basic harness kit and cut the webbing in half and that would work, but wasn't sure.

Yep, I would just go by a LDS or on line and order 2 inch webbing to length. No need to buy and "official" harness.

They have a video of how to assemble the "basic" Express Tech. As you correctly stated, it's just two pieces of webbing.
