Yes intermediate Cineform does take space up like 30 GIS per hour but when you can buy a 300 GIG drive for $200 AUS it's no bg deal. I have 1000 GIGS to dump stuff to.

That's a good point too. USB hard drives are a cheap reliable medium too. Not as cheap as tapes but more reliable and faster I think. Compared to the time (money) spent editing they are cheap.

I've just been storing raw footage with cut commands on my two 300 gig internal SATAs until I decide I'm done completely with a project.

Got it..I love that clear water...something I miss here....but we do get lots of animals.

Did you download a copy of Main Concept Pro for Prem Pro and try to endcode out a m2t file. It really does do a better job even with Pro 2 and Aspect 4 +....
