Just wanted to share my experience diving Tuwanek (sunshine coast) this past monday. we were supposed to get that "tropical depression" storm... guess it fizzled out! had some exellent visibility. atleast 50ft I would say. I am told this site is usually bursting with life, and my fellow divers said it was "unusually quiet". Even so It was a great spot, nice mix of topography, and I was quite pleased with the critters we came across.
This was the first time I have been diving at this site, and it was great, not only because it is a nice spot, but because it was new to me. ( i have wayyy too many dives logged at Porteau Cove and Whitecliff)

I am wondering what everybody else has to say about diving any "new" spots, what they found, where it is, etc.

Time to explore!
