EXPLORER VENTURES LIVEABOARD FLEET JOINS FORCES WITH PETER HUGHES.
The Explorer Ventures Fleet is happy to announce that it has joined forces with Peter A. Hughes, who will assist the company as a Quality and Environment Advisor.
Since founding the Dancer Fleet in 1991, Peter’s decades in the diving industry have resulted in awards such as Beneath the Sea's Diver of the Year (2000), DEMA’s Reaching Out Award (2011), induction into the International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame (2015), and the Academy of Underwater Arts and Sciences' NOGI award and ADEX’s Lifetime Achievement Award (2018). Hughes will be assisting the company with its worldwide environmental initiatives and marketing, as well as visiting the Fleet’s vessels to assist in crew training, guest satisfaction, and quality control.

Peter and Clay recently returned from the shipyard in Guayaquil, Ecuador, where the brand-new Tiburon Explorer is taking shape in time for an April 2020 launch. After several days of design and diver experience consultation, they’re excited for Tiburon Explorer’s entry into the market as the premium liveaboard vessel in the Galapagos Islands.
