Have booked a trip with Explorer Venture on the CEII departing St. Kitts on 25 March.

Looking for any recent feedback on the boat/crew/diving itinerary..

Of course an early hello to anyone else going on the trip..

Cheers,

Monty

Hey Monty, good to see you on the board.

Did you get your housing yet ? Which lens/port did you decide on ?

I was on the boat ~8 months ago, and the boat is nice. I know that the crew has changed, so I can't comment on that, but we found the diving to be quite good, especially Saba, Statia had lots of turtles. The Saba shore excursion was a lot of fun.
Hope that helps..

Thanks Zippy - it does - I'll bring the wide angle down in statia for the turtles..

Hi Ron - I went with the Ikelite housing for the 20D and dual DS125 strobes - I only went for two ports - one for the 50mm macro and the other for the 18-55 kit lens. That'll have to do for this trip.. I didn't think my 70-300 would be any good underwater and they don't make a port for my 28-135.. My 28 - 90 is a bridge lens between the 18-55 and 70-300, so I went with the kit for the widest angle lens I carry in my bag..

Started my blog already for this trip.. :)
