Yup. Me and the non-diving, but aggressively snorkling spouse went last November. Flew into St. Maarten, got aboard and woke up next morning in Saba waters. Saba was the best diving -- pinnacles like Diamond rock were unique and fun. We were there for 3 days. Next day was Statia where at "Ledges" the sandy site was littered with Flying Gunards. (Either you're into them or not). Each diver had one to themselves -- fun! Last day was in St. Kitts. Nitrox was a solid 32% all week. Water temps in mid-November were 83/84. Had one day of afternoon showers -- otherwise perfect weather.

Diving became less interesting as the week went on. Saba really was the highlight. Hench- 3 days there. Shore excursions were offered at each Island. We missed Saba because it rained - making the steep streets impassable. Bummer. Statia and St. Kitts were both worth seeing. 1/2 the boat went on those trips. It's amazing how islands just a few miles apart can be so have such unique histories and end up so different. The big fort on St. Kitts was one of a kind.

So -- dive your brains out early in the trip and do some exploring toward the end. We did and thoroughly enjoyed it. By the way, that was my first Explorer Venture trip and I'm booked again for the southern Bahamas with my son in 2 weeks. Great crew and fellow passengers. I'd do it again. Go for it!
