Currently managing a top dive center in Dominican Republic, we are an experienced married couple looking for a new challenge. We are seeking a position as dive centre managers and/or resort managers.
Amanda is a PADI OWSI and SSI Divemaster instructor (9 specialties - can upgrade to PADI MSDT immediately if required) with 2000+ dives / 200+ certifications (from junior open water to Divemasters) and experience diving in all conditions, including strong current and low visibility.
Johan is soon to be certified as a PADI Divemaster and previously managed a resort with an in-house restaurant. He is a former sales and marketing manager, graphic designer and photographer, with website development experience.
We have experience living in remote locations and being responsible for all aspects of management - whether it be a resort or a dive center. We can take care of everything - finances/accounting, bookings, staff management and training, maintenance, guest relations, sales and marketing, social media, underwater photography etc. Both hold manual driving licences.
We enjoy working alongside local staff and learning about new cultures and languages. Johan (Belgian) speaks English, French, Spanish and Indonesian (Sasak/Lombok), Amanda (Australian) speaks English, decent Spanish and Vietnamese and is learning German.
We would love to manage a resort with in-house dive operations but are open to all possibilities, particularly those in Europe, South Pacific, Asia and Caribbean.
