Equipment Stolen - Cozumel

Been having a great trip and great diving since June 15th. However...this morning we awoke to discover all the equipment we had washed last night and left to dry on the patio of our B&B with a very high wall and locked doors is all missing. Yes, of course we suspect an inside job. We made a police report. Does anyone know if any other action makes sense? We will be here until July 25th.

Missing:

2 pairs Mares Volo fins...sizes small and regualr our names written inside

Seaquest Eva BCD

Sherwood BCD

Suunto Vyper wrist computer

2 regulators...bother Mares...one with Suunto guages and Suunto SK7 compass

some other various small items...sausage, small Pelican dive light etc. Now that we have doone teh official police report...is there anything else to do??

Hi Lynn,

In case you weren't given one, be sure to obtain & retain a copy of a detailed police report. Your gear insurance carrier very likely will want to see one.
