Any one of you Olympus 5050 / Pt-015 users out there have any experience with the Epoque DCL20 Wide Angle Lens? Comments about it's use? Good? Bad? Recommendations?

I know the INON is generally considered the "gold standard", but is the Epoque near as good?

Thanks in advance for your assistance,

I just got the Epoque DCL20 for my C5060 and Ikelite Housing and it works great. The benefit for me is the wet mount capability allowing me to screw it in directly to the Ikelite housing underwater. I tested it side by side above water with the Sea&Sea WAL and saw no noticeable difference in quality. The Epoque even appeared to be wider angle than the Sea&Sea. The only draw back is there is slight vignetting on the corners of the frame when the lense is zoomed all the way back wide so you have to just zoom in slightly to get rid of the dark corners or Photoshop it out. This was the same for the Sea&Sea as well. I do kind of like the effect though for some shots to really emphasize the wide look. I am quite happy with my Epoque and it is a bit cheaper too.

You can see some of these wide angle shots in my latest photos in My Gallery.

Thanks for the response. I appreciate the information. I guess that means that I should go ahead and buy the one I found!

Moot point. I placed a bid, and then the price skyrocketed, doubling in the last 18 minutes of the Auction. Oh well. I still appreciate the information.
