The DCL-20 Underwater Digital Wide Conversion Lens with 46mm Adapter Ring from Epoque is an external, wide-angle lens with a ring that has a 46mm thread diameter, allowing you to mount the lens on 46mm lens ports on underwater camera housings. This adapter ring can be replaced by optional adapter rings of other sizes to enable you to use the lens on different ports. The DCL-20 is compatible with many housings from Epoque, Olympus, Canon and Ikelite, provided that the correct adapter ring is used. The lens has a depth rating of 197'.
The wide-angle lens attaches directly to the adapter ring. It widens the field of view of the camera's lens and also offers 0.56x magnification. It is constructed from optical glass and an aluminum alloy body and contains 5 elements in 4 groups. The lens will allow you to get close to your subject and fit more in the frame. Benefit from increased clarity as distortion caused by the water is reduced. The lens can be removed and replaced while underwater, as well.
