Today I ordered a 400D which I intend to house, probably in an Ikelite housing. Any one got any comments on this camera etc

You'll love it. I recommend the 60 EF-S macro as a great first lens underwater. It will do 1:1 macro as well as really nice fish portraits. For wide angle, there are a couple of options, but the 10-22 EF-S is hard to beat. I have my 20D in an Ikelite housing with Ikelite DS-125s.

great little camera (I'm still waiting to get my 400D wet)... just don't forget to disable the rear screen sensor before putting in the housing...

I second bandit's lens recommendations... 10-22 and 60mm are very nice lenses uw and you'll have no problem getting focus/ zoom gears for them.
