Note that I made an offer, of asking price, on 3/6/23, received a response to move forward, then never received any further communications after sending a few follow up messages.

Yes that is absolutely correct. I let you know that I stepped on the sensor and broke it. I was unable in that time after to work out getting another sensor, as I offered to replace the sensor in the cost of the sale. However that was an error in my judgement since the cost of replacing that sensor was almost 40% of my asking price. I decided against selling at such a large loss and I just left the thought of selling it behind.
No payment details were discussed I felt it was a harmless maneuver to pass on selling it and felt little obligation in that regard however;
I do apologize for the conduct there, I should have communicated that and made it known. There is no excuse for that.
