Cayman relies on expatriots to fill many professional positions.
Any employer contemplating filling a position in Cayman with expatriot labor must first advertise the job in one of the local newspapers. As a part of the work permit process, the employer must demonstrate that they advertised the job locally and must also explain why any applications from qualified Caymanians were not suitable. For many positions, this is a relative formality.

The Caymanian Compass is the bigger paper, but isn't online. The big weekly issue is published every Friday, and contains most of the ads for professional positions.
