I'm looking for an inexpensive p & s to replace a Canon 720 and case that is no more.
I see lots of postings from folks who opt for the Elph 300 hs, but right now it's much easier for me to pick up the 310 and I'm wondering if anyone has experience with it.
The other ( less expensive by $100) option is the 100 hs, but I notice that this model does not allow for zoom to be used with video. Also, the 310 has a wide angle that seems like a plus.
Anyone with experience with these packages? Any input would be great!

I do have another option, which would be to buy either the ikelite or the canon case for my canon s90. The ikelite case is $150 more than the canon, but I seem to see a lot of problems in posts regarding the ikelite, and I have not had good luck with canon cases in the past.
