Greetings all,

My name is Brian Gundersen, a 23 year old senior in college. I try to do one eventful activity each summer - last year was skydiving, this summer was flying trapeze lessons, and next summer is scuba diving!

I'm taking my rec License test at the end of the month, and can't wait to become certified!

I'm doing my check-out dive in Ft. Lauderdale, FL in December. After that, I'm planning a summer vacation in the Outer Banks (NC) or Ocean City, MD. Are there any dive spots out there?!

Looking forward to learning from your SCUBA expertise and experiences and making some new friends.

Hi Brian,

I am also from the Elkridge area, and I have been scuba diving in Ocean City, MD and the Outer Banks. In Ocean City I went diving on the Malama Kai and the visibility was about 10 feet. The fish were cool as I saw black seabass, flounder, and tautog.

However, I love history, so diving in the Outer Banks was awesome! I dove with "Outer Banks Diving" located on Hatteras Island. Captain Johnny, Milton, and Stevie far exceeded my expectations and Amy at the Dive Shop made sure I had everything I needed for succesful dives. I would totally recommend these guys!!!
