Anyone know of someone working on electric underwear or electric panels as a way of staying warm?
I think I have seen everything that has made its way to DEMA in the past 5 years (which isn't much) but maybe someone out there has a new idea.
I heard about a guy in Canada experimenting and I have seen the flat panels made by someone in the UK.
I am looking for a solution that will operate on 24 volts. Will be worn under a drysuit on the torso, is not bulky and wont burn the skin.
Any ideas, leads or thoughts on alternatives to electricity?
Chemical packs have been tried but the typical dive profiles are 4-6 hours in water around or below 5c/41f and they don't last long enough.

The situation is that the divers are lying stationary for very long periods while in transit to a location and they are freezing.
