This winter is an El Nino season. I understand this changes ocean currents and negativly impacts diving in Galapagos because of warmer than normal currents. Has any one been recently and can you comment on the El Nino impact ?

Also, I am scheduled to dive there in early August, will the seasonal effects of El Nino be complete by then ?

Have not been but booked 2 wks Sept 2010. Did a lot of reading about El Nino and "supposedly" it should be on the decline over this winter. But who knows...
