Anyone know how El Moro (the one out behind the cement plant - and my favorite place for a relaxing evening after diving) fared in the storm?
Thanks,
Rick

Thanks Christi,Christi:El Moro is alive and well! I've been there about 1/2 a dozen times since Wilma (it's 2 blocks from my houseand I love their soups (and everything actually)!
Thay had about a foot of water inside, but no other damage. I'm sure they'll be glad to see you!
WOODMAN:We just got back from Cozumel, and we visited El Moro a couple of nights ago with several other divers. It's location sort of spooked a couple of my party ( who were new to Cozumel), and I do have to admit that it is back in off the beaten path. The rather convoluted way that our driver took to get in there didn't help, I guess. But it was definately worth the trip, as you regulars all know. One of my party had been knocking around the island for a couple of weeks as a solo diver, and he pronounced the shrimp fajitas as the best he had experienced so far. I personally had the beef saltimbocca, which was excellent, and not something I can usually find. Their menu was extensive, and everyone found something to their taste, even down to the 60 peso chicken dishes ( which were actually quite good, I was told). I will post a trip report soon, but I just had to get my two cents in on this. Woody
