One positive that came along because of the hurricane last year in the panhandle is a new dive site as of Friday

A lot of the nooks and crannies

Spreading the word so if anyone hears anything please say something or at least punch the person in the throat.
This is why we can't have nice things.

Hey all,
This post is going to be a little off topic, but we need to spread the word on this. It takes a real special douchebag to take the time to go out to a newly sunk wreck and steal a vital piece used to tie into the wreck. Recently someone took it upon themselves to steal the shackle that was attached to the bow tie in plate on the newly sunk El Dorado.
While it may not sound like much of a big deal, that piece is vital to making sure the boat is tied in properly for everyone's safety. The person who took this had to think about it and plan it as the shackle was very securely screwed to the plate, so it wasn't a simple twist the bolt out and take it. They would have needed a wrench or big screw driver to unthread it..
The crews of Panama City Diving and Panama City Dive Center worked too hard and too long to get the pcb area a new wreck for some ass clown to go steal a major anchoring piece from it. This act of ignorance just makes it harder on the charter boats when needing to tie in. If you hear of anything related to this, say something.
While it is petty, if they needed a shackle that bad, I'm sure Harbor Freight has a coupon they could have used to by a new one, the money spent in fuel and air to get there was more then the shackle is worth..
