Hello all

I am proud to announce the arrival of a new addition to my gear family. A Halcyon Eclipse MC! (second hand one, mind you...but hey it is still an H!!)

After doing all the pre-requisite bonding with the new addition, I noticed that the STA is a bit on the loose side even after I tighten up the wingnuts. It seems that the square hole on the STA is a bit bigger than the shoulder of the bolt and this is causing the slack. As I've never used an STA before, I was wondering if this is normal.

I guess I can rig up some sort of spacer arrangement to fix this as I don't like the idea of my cylinder rocking side to side.

Any thoughts/comments gratefully accepted.

Cheers

Joe

All is good!

I found that the previous owner had put a flat washer between the STA and the wing grommet. This prevented the square shoulder from cinching down...

Problem solved...

Cheers
