I just don't log dives
There were heavy clouds in MDR, and as the eclipse was only for the fuirst hour or two after moonrise, it was a tought one.

I got one shot, but it was rushed, as the clouds opened for a few seconds. Hand held 600mm luner photography is NOT my specialty...so its not a great pic. Spooky, sure, but not much else.

I couldn't get to the pod in time, so I had to expose it longer than I wanted to... and hand held... well, you get the idea. No lunar contours, just a bright white ball.

Here it is.

Hopefully the clouds will cooperate next time!

It was clear here in central Kentucky. Truely an amazing sight to see. The redness for about 10 minutes was awesome.

Unfortunately, I don't have a tripod, so my pictures look like a blur.

It was beautiful here, just cold.

Cool picture! Way damn cool considering you were hand holding a 600mm lens! I have tried that with much, much worse results.
We couldn't see it here due to clouds. First time in a long time we've had clouds. But we do for an eclipse!
Did I say I thought you picture was way cool?

funny story...
my friend walks in last night and says...hey, I thought there was a full moon last night but it looks so dark out there, was I seeing things?
I said...hey smarty pants, there is a lunar eclipse going on ;)
I would make some blonde refrence but it's obviously not the case as we are both redheads...in some ways that is even worse! lol

It rained all night here, so we didn't get to see it :(
