Hello!

Looking for some suggestions on where to go for about a week around Easter. Only have 7-10 days so it can't be too far away (will be coming from the west coast of Canada). Don't need nightlife, if diving will likely be in bed early anyways. Prefer small accommodations eg. bungalows or beach huts. Any ideas?

Thanks

EAster is a huge holiday in any of the latin countries, keep that in mind. If you want to go then you need to book asap.

I would look at Roatan, lots of different resorts to choose from. Our favorite is Welcome to CoCo View Resort but I am sure they are already booked for that timeframe. You could check though. Gorgeous overwater/oceanfront rooms, all-inclusive dive dive dive destination. There is also Fantasy Island across the lagoon and Anthony's Key Resort on the other side of island for the all-inclusives, then tons of smaller hotels and dive ops down on the West End. Excellent diving no matter which part of the island you stay on. :D

Also, check out Bonaire. Lots of smaller hotels and dive ops and great diving!

There is always Old Providence which has the small cabañas bed and breakfast type places with great diving.
Not to sure about the flight araingment from Western Canada, it might be a dificult trip just to get to San Andres.
Ciao
Tad :ok:
