I'd like my secondary to breath as easily/freely as my primary (I've had some rental Octos that were like trying to suck air out of an empty wine bottle at 70' - enough to induce panic in a panicked OOA diver situation).

How does the ZX Octopus compare to the ZX-50D primary? If there is a difference is there any reason I couldn't have a rig with two 50Ds?

Thanks,
SFD

The ZX Octopus is the same as the secondary of the ZX-50D regulator. The "lower end" regulator in Zeagle's line is called the Envoy. Internals are actually the same, only difference is the adjustable cracking pressure that the ZX has and the Envoy does not.

Both are very good secondaries.

There is no reason why you cannot have a 50D primary and two ZX secondaries.
