Eagle Z1 BCD

Howdy!

Currently using a borrowed Zeagle Ranger BCD. It has been OK as far as bouyancy (44#), balance, utility, and diver community reputation. I have considered buying one for myself when I ran accross some information on the "Eagle Z1" BCD.

The Eagle Z1 BCD looks good on paper, but I can't find anyone I know who has used it. Does any one out there have firsthand information on the Eagle Z1 BCD, preferably how it compares to the Zeagle Ranger?

I dive a Zeagle Ranger and have no complaints. I have checked some others and the Quality of construction just isn't there. I think the ones you are looking at might be knock offs since the only place i have seen one is E-bay.

Go for the Ranger in my opinion.

Probably the same way "krab" (the painted fish by-product) compares to crab.
Or "Spider" ski wear compares to "Spyder"
