Hi,

When using the 9-18mm lens, I sometime get reflection of the text on the front of the lens (see attached image with marked region). Any suggestions how to avoid that?

Thanks!

mmm A step up adaptor (52-67) on the 52mm thread may be the cheapest choice (about 7$) otherwise the
POS-EP02 from Olympus ($42)...

Didn't realize Oly had a part for that. Regarding the step-up ring, not sure if it will do the job. The text is on the inner part of the thread. I guess that step-down will hide it, but then might vignette the image...

Thanks!

The add-on "RING" is to help block light from the on-board flash from reflecting into the lens. This is less of a problem with a dome port than it is with a flat port. Many have used magic marker or black felt stuck to the lens to reduce the problem.

I simply used black gaffer tape trimmed down to size.
