I have been away from Scubaboard for a few months and am glad to be back. When I was on the board in the past, I received emails notifying if anyone replied to a thread to which I was subscribed. It appears as if this email notification feature has been disabled. I checked my settings and the option selected was to instantly receive email notifications to subscribed threads (and PMs), but I have not received any notifications even though people have replied to a thread I started. Thanks!

Email Notifications work... It's your AOL email that doesn't receive them. AOL has SB blacklisted, and all efforts to reverse this have failed.

Click this -> http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/profile.php?do=editpassword and change your email to a non-AOL email address, and you'll get them.

This is the only solution... Sorry.

Thanks!

Why would AOL black list SB? I can't imagine with all the other things allowed.

You'll have to ask them. I can't get an answer or unlisted.

All other email services including Comcast, AT&T, Bellsouth, etc have been resolved. It appears as though the only current issue is with AOL, and we're asking anyone with an aol.com email address to use a different email for their SB account.

It appears as though EVERYONE, including AOL now receives email from scubaboard.com

I noticed with my AOL acct I was not getting SB emails as well. Maybe for the past 6 weeks. Perhaps longer.

I do get viagra and other assorted spam on occasion.

Overdue for me to ditch AOL.

How about now though? I think I fixed it.
