Hi, I'm Vasco from Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
A couple of years ago I started a 4-day padi open water course in Byron Bay, Australia. Unfortunately at the time the sea was too wild to be able to do the open water dives, so I wasn't able to finish the course. Now I recently joined a local scuba diving club to get certified and be able to enjoy the experience of scuba diving.
Currently I am in the proces of buying some starter equipment (fins, mask, snorkel, wetsuit etc.) and by looking up information on the interwebs I stumbled upon this board. There seems to be a wealth of information here so I'm planning on sticking around.
This winter I will go through some pool training and theory, and as soon as the outdoor temperatures start to rise I'll finally start diving in open water. Can't wait!
