I have a Galapagos 7-day liveaboard scheduled in the fall of 2025 and I'm thinking about my gear. I'm not too worried about extra Gopro batteries and such. I'm more worried about gear that could really impact my ability to keep diving if lost / failed. Just how much duplicity do you recommend?

Here's what I am planning to take that will be extra:
A spare regulator set. This will have 2-2nd stages & 1-first stage + hoses & analog SPG. This is really just my son's set that is the same name brand (deep 6)
Additional mask
Mask & fin straps
Dive light

And here's what I'm wondering if I should duplicate:
Air Integration transmitter (I could default to analog if needed, so this would be a luxury duplicate)
Wing for backplate (mine's ~ 6 years old)
fins (what if you lose one while transferring to panga)
DSMB & Spool

I figure generic stuff will be on the boat i.e. repair tools, weight belt, etc.

Things break and no stores to buy parts. This is just my 2 cents since I've been there also. Below's list are all very very small and inexpensive to keep in a drybag on the panga/RIB boat.

* Brown(not black) Viton 014 orings and the very 1st day, replace the one on your assigned tank whether it needs it or not. Regs get twisted on the valves in all the handling on the RIB boat and for 50cents, it saved alot of dives when other tanks blew them and they missed the dive sitting on the RIB.

* a 2nd set of 'pre-worn/broken in' gloves that MUST be kevlar palm and fingers. You will destroy atleast one set on the rough boulders while hanging on & in the swells & currents

* an inexpensive BCD inflator - They are small cheap and great insurance cause they blow without warning.

* 12 zipties and a small roll of duct tape that you will probably use on your feet for blister prevention. Band-aides don't work and your feet will stay wet 12hrs each day.

It's a bucket list dive trip & I'll always remember it. Have fun!!
