Any advice on how to reinstall a dump valve? It's a screw in type, not glued. The whole thing pulled out, but it did not rip the air bladder. I'm struggling to get the gasket back in, any tips?

I got it on, but does the fabric is caught between the outside part and the gaskwt. It doesn't leak, but should I try to get the fabric out?

If I remember the sandwich order correctly, it's male threaded flange half then bottom half of the rubber gasket then the bladder worked into the gasket then the top half of the rubber gasket then the female threaded flange half. Outer bag fabric goes on top of that sandwich once it's properly assembled, and then that fabric is held in place by the OPV assembly that screws down onto the threads on the outside of the female threaded flange half. It may be, though, that both the outer bag fabric and the bladded go inside the rubber gasket...I'll have to look at one of my older wings when I get home.

this style dump valve has this problem usually, suggest you buy the wing with the welding style dump valve in the future.

Says the guy whose profile suggests he makes shoddy welded BDC bladders. I prefer the Halcyon welded seams, and just have Halcyon fix them if they go bad, but this older design has the advantage of being user servicable.
