I do realize this is a very technical question and some might not feel comfortable offering suggestions I’m hoping someone that may have hands on with the equipment may offer some advice

Short of changing from my Sherwood pro black which as a last resort I may have to do but I’m very attached to it. After some troubles I have had lately with a weight belt buckle I was trying to come up with a system where I can integrate my weights into the BC. And do away with the belt, I was looking at the DUI weight and trim 2 it is a harness type system. My theory is I may be able to thread it in place of my cummerbund and attach it to the shoulder D rings. Now a little background on my diving a good deal of my diving is in a 100'/+ water which on most trips I would be packing a gun and metal stringer.

If anyone could offer other systems to take a look at I’m all ears

What kind of "trouble" were you having with the weight belt buckle?
I would not buy any item of bouyancy/ballast control and thread it to your BC.
What are you trying to achieve?

The primary reason would be to due away with the weight belt itself. If the harness weight system would work along with the BCD a person could do away with the hassle of the belt. And keep the BCD of their choice. I had a buckle give way on me last weekend and at the time I was pushing a Deco stop, my hands was full and the plastic buckle was just not going to be repairable on the bottom. I ended up ascending from a 100'/+ft with the belt around my neck and my hands full trying to watch my computer. I was on my fourth bounce dive of the day so a lot of stuff passes through ones mind at the time

Plastic breaks. That's why I use steel.

Not that I use one, but if you want to avoid a weightbelt, why not use an integrated weight BC?
