Has any tried the use of Plastidip on the outer boot of a DUI turbo boot on a dry suit?

I have a couple leaks where the joint meets the sole.
I was thinking to seal it up using the proper dry suit glue, aquaseal + FD, then putting a layer of Plastidip along the bottom edges of the boots for better durability.

Thoughts?
