Heres the question. Price being of no concern. Wich of these underware are warmer and or better than the other.
Dui thermal max 300 vs, polartec powerstretch 300.
One is thick one is thin, But DUI says there as warm as each other.

Lets see what the users have to say vs DUI.

I've never used the DUI Thermal Max but I think it's basically 300gm fleece which I have used. I do own the DUI Powerstretch (custom fit) and I prefer it to "regular" fleece. It's much more comfortable than regular fleece because it stretches much more.

It is just a 300gr fleece w/ a lining and outer shell.
How do the two materials campare as far as trapping air.

Well, we got one response so far. Lets not this thing die with only 2 posts.

The DUI PowerStretch is just one (stretchy) material. No lining or shell. The DUI Thinsulate suit has an outer shell. I don't think my undergarment traps much air because it fits VERY close to my body. It fits like spandex. Of course, it's custom fitted and cost $600. I don't know how much air the other undergarments trap.

I have the PowerStretch and have compared it to the Thinsulate, Thermalmax was not made when I was shopping.

The stretchiness of the PowerStretch minimizes the amount of material and allows you to use less lead compared to a thinsulate suit. Does the Thermalmax stretch? Can you rent the suits from your LDS and try them on a dive?
