USED DUI DRYSUIT PACKAGE BARGAIN ($1,000) = Suit used only 5 times! Includes:
- DUI FLX 50/50 QZ dry suit
- DUI Thinsulate Extreme drysuit undergarment (including insulated booties)
- DUI zippered storage bags for drysuit and undergarment
- Wet hood & wet gloves.
I am selling this on behalf of a friend who can no longer dive due to medical issues.
The drysuit is sized for someone who is = 6' height, 46" chest, 36" waist. I spoke to DUI customer service about the sizing – although they don’t have records on this suit, it would appear to be an XL. Neoprene socks and size 11 Rock Boots. Although manufactured in May 2005 (see suit tag pic), suit has only been used 5 times. I am still diving my own TLS 350 bought new in 2004 and it is still going strong.
Waterproof inner zipper “closed” position is up at the shoulder (thus the QZ model designation); outer zipper “closed” position is down at the waist. The suit has been stored in an airtight container. I waxed and worked the zipper back and forth....appears to be in good shape and zips as easily as my own recently replaced drysuit zipper..
DUI brand shoulder dump valve. Latex seals on neck and wrists.
The top half of the FLX 50/50 is made of a tri-lam material similar to the TLS 350; the bottom half is made of very durable crushed neoprene, just like the CF 200. Suit has knee pads, but no leg pockets (these can easily be added). The suit is in beautiful condition. Includes DUI drysuit bag and a separate undergarment bag. Package also includes the DUI undergarment with booties, a Henderson Hyperstretch 7/5mm hood (XXL) and wet gloves (XL). PRICE for all of this: $1,000.
