Has anyone got or has tried the " DUI Delta BCD"

or even better has anyone got a active link to a current and detailed review.

Thanx everyone in advance.:06:

Funny you should ask about the Delta.
WHile I haven't dove one yet. The DUI rep was in our store yesterday and had me try one of for a fitting to show their versatility. On that topic they are very nice, but how they Dive I have no clue.

:D Oh No.seems as though ther DUI isn't quite what I thought it was made out to be.

So whats a really kick arse backmount BCD............. surely you got a make or model for me to have a gander at!!!!!!

Simply put - I love my Delta. Mind you, I have only 20 dives under my belt (PADI OWD) but I have a caring instructor/LDS op. who recommended it (not to draw cash from my pockets, be assured .-)).
I have dived it from the Atlantic (Madeira) to the Mediterranean (Croatia, beach dives as well as the incredible Baron Gautsch wreck) to local freshwater lakes where I live (Austria, Europe) and it has been pleasant, effective and assuring to have with me. It´s highly customizeable (weight pockets or simple belt, size, etc.), the position under water feels perfect compared to ADVs I dove and the D-Rings/bungee retractors come handy for everything from gauges to light/backup lights to cameras. It packs lightly, the material is sturdy, and you can dissamble/set it up within minutes to fit every diver. And it´s comfortable due to the softpack and the shoulder straps - no matter if you mount a 10, 12 or (urgh!) 20 Liter tank (we tried that just to see if a skinny guy like me will make it into the water with it .-)).
So, no sales pitch but real enthusiasm - you may want to give it a shot and try the Delta before writing it off.
PS: This is my first ever post to this great community. So "Hi" from Austria and greets to all of you worldwide!
regards, michael

So what is it that you don't like about it now that you have done some checking?

Have you considered getting a BP&W?

IMHO - I would stay away from a Zeagle Ranger.

... when I was talking about the Delta I was describing my experience with the wing style version - don´t´know the jacket version of it.
Just to add details I haven´t tried out myself: according to my instructor it is easy to mount doubles on the Delta Wing. Just in case you wanted to know...

Well I have seen one or two others that I'm also kinda keen on!!!

first is the Seaquest Pro QD and the second is the Buddy Commando.........now my problems get even more complex with more pick and options to choose from

Anyone here tried or seen anything on either of these BCD's :D

The Pro QD is the BC we are using for our rental stock. I personally am diving a Pro Unlimited right now. Good BC But I am contemplating shifitng either to the Delta or Back to the Black Diamond, which was the BC I was using before I shifted to the pro unlimited.

Problem solved............well almost:eyebrow:

I've just got back home after picking up a Poseidon Powerlift Photic !!!
I know it's not quite what I had in mind BUT the price was a mear £205.00 so I did the maths and jumped at it.

Now I've just got to find any flaws with it

Can anyone provide any recent reviews or personal diving exp... on this? I figure someone here has seen or know something.

Thanks in advance ;)
