I'm looking for some feedback from anyone that has or has tried the DSS setup. It looks great and the posts I've read so far are encouraging, Just looking for a little more beta. Thanks. Cliff

Researched this quite a bit, and I'm talking with DSS (Tobin) myself on this rig. Looking at a 26# Torus, with a SS BP, and began looking at the ProFit harness (however, he's recommending the Hogarthian harness -- jury is still out for me on the harness).

I live and dive in NY, so I already own a 5mm and a 7mm with a hooded vest to go over that, and I am already trying to figure out when I fit a drysuit into the budget to extend my season to all year round. Throw in a 2 trips a year to warmer water, and I'm liking the easy sizing capability.

I originally bought the Pro-fit harness, but decided to change over to the hog harness. The pro-fit has some nice design features, but is a little too "floppy".

I recently got the 35 lbs torus and pro-fit harness (I'll post a review -- very positive -- in the next few days). I would suggest just getting the hog harness. I can already see myself switching over soon enough. Same youself the trouble and money.

I have the DSS doubles set-up w/ the hog harness...the harness material itself is thicker (than others I've seen) which allows for very easy donning/exiting.

You buy the DSS system once for the life of whatever diving you will ever do. Plus your grandkids. You'll change stuff over every now and then, and rubber lp inflator hose will go to pieces in 30 years or so especially if you leave in the sun a lot.
That answer it for ya?
