DSLR Autofocus during night dive?

I recently went digital with a Nikon D70, Ikelite housing and Ikelite DS-125 strobe. Anyone have any experience with this system on a night dive?

Does the modeling light put out enough light for the autofocus to work or would manual focus be the best choice on a night dive?

I use a D50 nikon in an ike housing with a DS 125.and YES the modeling light is plenty powerful enough .It is a powerful beam of light.
