Hello, I am interested in purchasing my first strobe, and wanted to get some comparison info on the Ikelite DS51 vs the AF35. I have used the AF35 on my last liveaboard while taking an underwater photography class, and got some wonderful results. I was wondering if the DS51 with controller is a better strobe, as I've found a used one for sale for about the same price as the AF35. I understand the guide number of the DS51 is quite a bit higher, so would assume that would be better. Thank you for any info you can give me!

Ok, bought the DS51, and it comes with arms and the manual controller. I've got a Canon G11 with the factory housing. I know I'll need a tray of course, but I think everything else should be covered! Excited to get in the water and use it with the new macro lens and adapter I got for Xmas!
