Hi there.
One of my drysuits it's a local brand trilam
The sews are sealed with black rubber who's starting to peel and leak
The cost of repairing it (sanding of the rubber tape and seal with urethane) is about the cost of the suit.
Does anyone tryed covering the tapes with polyurethane or a silicone sealant?
Of course it would be a cheap manner to take a few more time from this suit before i put it on trash

Any thoughs appreciated

Regards

Tks but i guess the correction tool made it wrong, it's not a neck or wrist seal problem, but an internal seams problem.
The rubber tape that seals the sewing line internally begans to peel. So i would like to cover it with silicone or polyurethane sealant, got it?

Regards

if the trilam suit is delaminating at the seams, that usually is not something that is fixable. i thought your original post referred to neoprene seals. time for a new suit, sorry.
