I am taking the PADI dry suit specialty course in the next few weeks (its 40 degrees and no one will go diving with me :( in that mud hole quarry near my house). But it IS really cold and my hands and feet tend to freeze even on warmer dives. What I was wondering is if anyone has any experience with the glove warmers from skiing? I am sure they would work with the dry boots, but my gloves are wet (and rather thin if I do say so). Any experiences?

Use thicker gloves, dry-gloves, or 3-finger mitts.

I use mitts when the water temp is in the mid 40s or lower.

One thing you might find, I do, is that if the gloves fit TIGHTLY
they will not allow as much water in and your hands will stay
warmer.
