Aloha,
Living in Hawaii for 22 years, I have always wanted to swim with humpback whales. The only thing that has kept me from doing it is the marine mammal act. The bottom line that my desire to swim with whales is not worth a fine or jail time.
Thats why last year I took a small group to Tonga, where under strict guidelines it is legal to swim with whales. The trip was awesome and everone had several in water opportunities. There is nothing as exciting as swimming alongside a humpback whale.
It was so good, I chartered a boat for five days this coming Sept 12, 2007. The bummer is two people just canceled. There are now two spots open. We will use the spped boat during the day, and stay in a hotel at night.
I am scheduled to depart Honolulu at 12:35 Am on the 10 of September and will return on the 18th. Anyone interested in joining should log onto my website at www.douglasjhoffman.com or contact me ASAP by email.
