OK here's the scenario. I'm just about to give up the desperately dull job I've done for the last 15 years and walk away with a tidy sum in cash. Before embarking on my new career I want to treat myself to the reward of a dream dive trip - money not really an issue. But where to choose? Barier Reef, South Pacific island, Arctic lake?

If you were/have been in the same position what would/did you do?

Cost-is-no-object dive trip?

For me it would be Galapagos Islands ....

I would agree with Bob, if you are in to big stuff go to Galapagos. But whale shark season is not until June - November..

Now you got me drooliing again. I will second Galapagos. Otherwise I think Fiji

Any openings for a certain diver and his non diving wife? LOL Just kidding. Wow, if money were no object, I'd go to either Micronesia (Yap or Palau) or the Galapagos. Although, I've not seen any diving posts about Bora Bora, I would love to go there too!

Those two (Palau and Galapagos) would have to be at the top of my list also.
