It isn’t often the liveaboard dive specialists at Liveaboard Adventures have space on an upcoming departure that isn’t at least a year away. But for four fortunate dive travelers, wanting to explore the exotic world of Indonesia, that’s exactly the case.
According to Jen Darby of Liveaboard Adventures, “The Arenui liveaboard is virtually sold out years in advance. This year, the unique Komodo/Alor departure has four spaces that have just come available. I can’t begin to cover all of the different experiences that divers encounter on this voyage, but let’s just say it includes a lifetime of memories packed into just 13 days.”
Darby, who has been promoting liveaboard dive adventures for more than 25 years, knows unique opportunities when she sees them and the Komodo/Alor program certainly qualifies. She points out that during the voyage, which departs Labuanbajo July 22nd the divers will have the opportunity to experience everything from Muck Diving at Beangabang to schools of fish at Komodo and often mantas along with the legendary Valley of the Clowns in Alor.
“You never know what you will see in this ever changing place in the world,” she points out. “We even stop at Pulau Komba, the active volcano.  It erupts every 5-20 minutes sending fire and rocks and lava into the sky.  Truly an experience every traveler will love and how many chances do you think you will have to dive a live volcano?”
During the voyage, divers have an opportunity for world class Komodo diving including Takat Makassar, Batu Bolong, Tatawa Kecil, Tatawa Besar and Wainilo. Then off to Gili Lawa Laut for two days of diving that finishes at Komodo National Park.  Divers enjoy the opportunity to get off the vessel and onto the island where they can encounter the famous Komodo dragons along with other sights exclusive to the region.
Darby said the open spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The company also has limited availability on a wide range of other voyages. For more details on this trip and other incredible experiences, contact Liveaboard Adventures info@liveaboardadventures.com
