I was fortunate to attend last week's wreck exploration week at Pirates Cove, D.R. A great facility and staff and they need to be commended. John Chatterton and Joe Porter (WDM) along with John of Pirates cove really worked hard to accomodate everyone. The wreck dives were o.k., but that was not the focus.

There were some world class divers, photographers, manufacturers, videographers, and treasure hunters there sharing a wealth of information, just for the asking and sometimes whether you wanted it or not. Of course, I reference the famous Bob Marx with the last statement. What a great story teller and the man has forgotten more about treasure hunting than everyone at the conference combined has ever known. It was truely an honor to hear his presentations every nite, even while he was ill. If any reader ever gets a chance to listen to Bob Marx, go out of your way to do so. A true legend.

Oh, and the scenery was awesome also.
