Just wondering if anyone dives with the trans pac and a wing made from someone other than DR? Im looking to get a new wing and dont want to spend the money on a new BP or harness and i'm not happy with the choices that DR has to offer for a single tank set up.

JT, to see my journey from DR to Oxycheq see this thread:

http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/bu...systems/209731-diverite-rec-wing-singles.html

To sum it up (mind you, this is not from my personal experiences but other users' advice) DR make fairly average wings. Oxycheq, DSS, Halcyon and OMS are superior in terms of performance and shape characteristics underwater.

Consensus seems that Oxycheq Mach V and several DSS wings are the best on offer at the moment. I bought the mach v myself and am waiting for it to come in.

My understanding is also that most major wings models fit most major plates/harnesses. Only problem you may encounter is that certain wing strap slots dont match up with strap slots on plates / harnesses made by other manufactureres. In this case you will need an STA.
