Bob, thank you for this thread. This is my first time here, and I was struck by seeing the Dr. Paul Auerbach was listed. I read his bio, and remember him from my days as a USAF PJ and in the diving instructor. He had a very far reach, more than many of us could imagine.

Thanks John, we were friends for many years, nominated Paul for his NOGI..stirred up folfs with his ad in Skin Diver Magazine.

I trained at Vanderbilt, but don't think I ever got to meet him. Shame.
 
Very sad to hear, he is a legend and an inspiration.
