Hi all.

Trying to repair / resurrect my Dive Rite MR11 Slimline divelight. I have a problem with my cable gland at the light head - it leaks. I believe that it's due to the age of the compression fitting and lack of flexibility. Looking for options for repair / replacement. My first thought is to replace the entire gland. Sounds easy enough, but locating a suitable replacement is causing me issues. Based on my research from here and some other forums, I *believe* that the gland is a PG11 thread. With that belief, I'm having difficulty finding a suitable replacement.

I can find a metal one, without a strain relief bit:
https://www.newegg.com/p/0SV-004A-00KZ0

and I can find a nylon one, with a strain relief end:

I've included some photos. Anyone have a suggestion as to
1) whether either of these will work
2) metal without vs. nylon with strain relief
3) option for purchasing the 'correct' / 'OEM' thing somewhere else?

As always, thanks to the forum for the input.

strain relief type is used if you don't have a cable protector, but since it does already, you don't need the strain relief. but you will have to check the nut dimensions to make sure it will accommodate the cable protector or plan for removal.

Last time I needed one I just ordered it from Dive Rite, wasnt very expensive. Plenty of online shops offer glands too

If the threads match either of the ones you posted will work. You don't usually need a strain relief at the light head end. BUT if it leaked your ballast may be toast and if that happened it may be beyond economical repair.
